Seems a bit incongruous to be talking about flowers in regards to someone of your age and gender but I now know that relevance can be found in any topic!
It's even more incongruous to think that, for your 20th birthday and for the Christmas just gone, all we could give you were flowers! Blue flowers!
It's hard to find blue flowers but the florist always has those blue-dyed lilies and we actually managed to produce some very lovely blue hydrangea in our garden which became our gift to you.
Your coffin was beautifully adorned with flowers, many of which were blue! A sad but lovely farewell to my gorgeous boy!
