We don't know how you are feeling today. Are you feeling happy and at peace? Are you feeling some regret that your desperation drove you away from us? We don't know if you are missing us as much as we are missing you.
We didn't know all the things you got up to at school...probably just as well!! But, in hindsight, who cares? You never sought to hurt anybody and, as far as we know, you didn't.
We didn't know the full extent of your depression or of your addiction. We knew of both those afflictions as you discussed them with us quite tearfully...but we really didn't think that they were bad enough to take you away. I wish we did!
